Outdoor Learning

On Wednesday afternoon we did some learning in the Nature Strip. We enjoyed lots of activities while learning to assess and manage risk and to keep ourselves safe.

Bears

We have all been very busy making new friends, getting to know our new classrooms and learning the new routines of school. Sciennes Primary is a very big school but we are gradually learning to find our way around.

This week we have started our ‘Bears’ topic. We have enjoyed the Everywhere Bear story (by Julia Donaldson) and we have tried lots of different activities, some with bears, some not. Here are a few photos to give you a wee glimpse of some of the things we’ve been doing. (You should be able to swipe through them.)
